Strategic Alliance Between Dubai PropTech Hub and Innovo Group to Boost Construction Technology

Dubai PropTech Hub, an initiative of the Dubai International Financial Centre, has formed a strategic partnership with Innovo Group, a UK‑based construction and engineering firm, to drive innovation in building projects across the United Arab Emirates.

Through this agreement, Innovo will combine its active construction sites and engineering expertise with the resources of Dubai PropTech Hub to discover, trial, and scale technologies that enhance cost efficiency, accelerate timelines, and improve overall project delivery.

The collaboration is also set to extend its reach into emerging markets of the Global South, covering regions such as Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America.

The partnership was formalised at the DIFC by Mohammad Alblooshi, CEO of the DIFC Innovation Hub, and Simon Penney, deputy CEO of Innovo, with witnesses Arif Amiri, CEO of the DIFC Authority, and Bishoy Azmy, CEO of Innovo.

Arif Amiri noted that Innovo’s involvement strengthens the Hub’s capacity to transition PropTech concepts into real‑world construction settings. By giving start‑ups access to live projects, the alliance speeds up commercial adoption, creates tangible industry value, and reinforces Dubai’s reputation as a global leader in real‑estate innovation.

Innovo will further enable start‑ups and technology firms participating in the Hub’s Global Landing Pad program to test their solutions on real projects, covering areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, digital twins, automation, sustainable materials and novel construction methodologies.

Approximately half of the participants in the program focus on pre‑construction and construction activities.

Established in 2025 as part of the DIFC Innovation Hub, Dubai PropTech Hub aims to support more than 200 PropTech start‑ups and attract over US$300 million in investment by 2030.
